Standard first
ANSI/ISEA 105 for cut, puncture and abrasion; ANSI/ISEA 138 for impact; EN388 as the European equivalent. We state the applicable standard per family.
PPE-led hub · ANSI & EN ratings
If you buy against a standard, start here: hazard, then the rating, then the glove family that carries it.
Safety gloves are not bought by color or cuff style. Buyers start with a risk assessment, which names the hazard and the required protection level, and then look for gloves that carry that level with documented ratings. This hub is organized the same way.
Every family page states which standard applies, what the levels mean, and where a knitted glove stops being the right answer. Where a hazard needs a different product class — chemical permeation, electrical insulation, structural firefighting — we say so instead of stretching a work glove into a claim it cannot support.

ANSI/ISEA 105 for cut, puncture and abrasion; ANSI/ISEA 138 for impact; EN388 as the European equivalent. We state the applicable standard per family.
A coated work glove is not a chemical barrier, an insulator or a firefighting glove. We tell you when the hazard needs a different product class rather than overselling a knit.
The approved sample and spec sheet carry the level, liner, coating and size grading, so your purchasing team orders against a fixed reference.
Browse the range
Each page carries the liner, coating, protection detail and the task it was built for, so you can pull a short list before you ask for samples.
Protection classes that are tested differently. Pick by the hazard, not by the product name.
Leather for abrasion and hot contact, with the cut and grip trade-offs written into the spec.
Weather and visibility layers sit on top of the base glove, so the shell and the liner both matter.
Static control and barrier gloves, kept strictly away from medical claims.
Reference
Ratings depend on liner, gauge and coating. Final values are confirmed on the approved sample.
Chemical permeation, electrical insulation and firefighting require dedicated products outside this range.

Questions buyers ask
If your question is about a specific style, send the spec and we will answer with the sample plan instead of a generic reply.
Every order ships against an approved spec sheet that states liner, coating, level and size grading, plus photos of the packed cartons before dispatch. If your risk assessment requires a third-party document, tell us before the order — we will say plainly whether it is in scope.
ANSI/ISEA 105 in the US and EN388 in Europe. The two tests are not directly interchangeable, so specify the market and we will quote the corresponding rating.
Yes. An HPPE liner provides the cut level and a TPR shell provides impact protection. Combining them avoids wearing two pairs, which is the usual reason compliance falls off.
We can describe the protection a style provides and its limits. The formal assessment stays with your safety team; we make sure the glove specification is precise enough to be assessed.
A buyer term for gloves that protect against mechanical risks — abrasion, cut, tear and puncture — rather than heat, chemicals or electricity. In the US the levels come from ANSI/ISEA 105, with impact from ANSI/ISEA 138; EN388 covers the same risks in Europe. In this range that means coated knit, leather and impact builds: the rating decides the glove, not the category name.
